Twenty First Services, LLC is a privately owned inspection firm originally opened in 1980. Only July 1, 2024 the firm was sold to the second generation, Alexandra and Michael Tomlinson, who continue to operate the firm to this day.
Jerry Tomlinson – Founder
Jerry Tomlinson is a proven executive with experience in multiple industries across multiple decades. He has shown his ability to build companies from scratch and remain profitable through multiple recessions.
Before opening Twenty First Services, he worked in his father’s retail agency leading the growth division. The agency grew beyond their plans, and was subsequently sold, leading him into his first private venture, Midsouth Measurements. Jerry took Midsouth Measurements from a start-up to one of the highest producing inspection firms within the state of Louisiana. In 1990 he came to an agreement to sell 4 offices throughout the southeast in order to focus more on the Louisiana operations.
In 2005 the company experienced Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath. Refusing to pull out of the state, like his competitors, he pushed through and began expanding into MS and AL. Along with his son Michael and daughter Alex, he has expanded the company to include the southeast region.
Marcia Tomlinson – Vice President
Marcia Tomlinson, the wife of president Jerry Tomlinson, has been with the firm since 1994. She has proven to have invaluable insight into the personal lines markets, and has acted as the office manager for over 15 years.
Before coming to Twenty First Services, Marcia attended Louisiana Tech, and pursued a career in the medical field. After many years of serving in the same practice, Marcia left the medical field to fill a void in the rapidly expanding family company.
Once inside the company she found herself quickly moving up the ladder, earning the respect of her fellow team members.
Marcia currently sits at the Vice President position.
Alexandra Tomlinson- C.O.O. & LA/MS/AL Profit Center Leader
Alexandra Tomlinson, the daughter of Jerry and Marcia Tomlinson, has been with the firm since 2015. She grown from importing/assigning, reviewing, inspector communications, to assistant profit center leader, and finally profit center leader. The team in Baton Rouge speaks very highly of her and looks forward to growing the office with a young and energetic leader at the helm.
Since taking over the territory, Alex has increased staffing in the field, expanded the full state of Mississippi, and increased the marketing presence of the Louisiana team. She has shown that her start in the service industry has prepared her for success in the sales and relationship building space she is currently operating.
Alex currently sits as the Chief Operating Officer and Profit Center Leader for LA/MS/AL.
Michael Tomlinson- President
Michael Tomlinson, the son of Jerry and Marcia Tomlinson, has been with the firm since 2012 after graduation from Louisiana State University. He started out in the operations manager role, led the company expansion to the Mid-Atlantic in 2013, becoming the Profit Center Leader for NC/SC/GA. In 2019 he led the expansion into Florida, and in 2023 he led the expansion into Texas. Michael’s primary focus has been the growth of the company and building deep lasting relationships throughout the industry.
Michael Currently sits as the President.
